Numbers of the week

2nd week: e. It is also known as Eulers’ number.  He is a mathematician and is my favorite one too. This number is used a lot in growth rates, differential equations, and is also an irrational and transcendental number. It is around 2.718…

 

Opening week: Pi. It is a lowercase greek letter and also an irrational and transcendental number. It is roughly 3.14159265358979…but goes on forever. It is used in almost all fields of math and has been studied for thousands of years.
